If you're ready to take your sales career to the next level in a supportive and rewarding environment, we want to hear from you!As the first point of contact for our clients which include general contractors, home builders, drywall, roofing and insulation contractors as well as the general public, the Inside Sales Representative will demonstrate our culture and values, while educating customers on our variety of products in order to create an efficient and helpful customer experience.Customer ServiceGreet customers and answering calls in a professional and courteous mannerProvide assistance to customers through quoting and ordering processProduce packing slips for pick-up, delivered, or direct transactionsAdvise customers on use and care of merchandiseMaintain customer filesExecute the CRM processShowroomKeep up to date with new productsAccept payment as outlined by Sales Policy and Procedure ManualOrganize showroom merchandiseReview stocking levels and ensure quantity is reasonableDesign Showroom for client purchase optimizationComplete opening and closing tasksCreate a safe and clean environment within the showroom for all clients and employeesAttend and present updates at sales meetings, where applicableCheck orders for accuracyAdditional duties that may be assigned by the Sales or Branch ManagerFollow all Company Policies & ProceduresRequirementsHigh school diplomaSales experience and/or experience in the building supply industry is an asset.Quick learning capabilities.Excellent customer service.Excellent communication (both verbal and written), presentation and negotiation skills are required.Positive attitude and a desire to succeed within a team environment are very important.We ProvideCompany matching RSP planComprehensive benefits planFull training provided both in sales and warehouse on product knowledgeOpportunities for professional developmentEducation reimbursementEmployee discountConsolidated Gypsum Supply
