Through our proven project management and cost engineering methodology services, we ensure that our clients get maximum return on their investment by managing systems to meet their current and future needs.Location: Hybrid in McLean, VA, after an initial introductory period in person.Position Information:The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) will be supporting a large Federal Government client in a digital transformation and modernization program. The DPM will be client-facing, help coordinate the work of a team of PMO professionals, and be a critical part of our delivery team.The successful candidate will bring the necessary experience in consulting on IT PMO support activities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with senior-level management, providing strategic planning advice, program implementation support, and strategic thought both verbally and in writing.Primary Responsibilities:Implements processes and policies and prioritizes projects and programs. Directs and oversees an organization's planning function to promote organizational effectiveness.Supports program manager with overall planning, direction, oversight, and administration of the contractEnsures full compliance with contract requirementsAllocates resources and sets schedules to accomplish program objectives including the quality, timelessness, and costsImplements associated risk mitigation strategiesParticipates in program reviews and readjusts resources and schedules to accomplish programsPlans and adjusts work operations to meet changing and/or emerging program requirements using available resources with minimal impact on work quality or quantityFacilitates continuous improvement in the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the services provided and integrates problem resolution into ongoing work without loss of workforce efficiencyAccomplish program and mission goals by relying on extensive experience and judgmentInterface with your team leads and senior Government personnelInteract with your team leads and SMEs to resolve project or technical issuesReview and prepare financial/budget reports, as neededEducation:A master's degree and at least 6 years of related work experience; or a bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of related experience.Qualifications:Experience with management of large complex federal programs that support engineering, information technology, operations research, or similar technical fields.Experience with government program management practices, reporting, quality guidelines, and financial management.Very strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities by levels of importance and suspense dates.Ability to qualify and mature technologies given internal and external requirementsDemonstrated success in working with diverse teams of engineers, developers, analysts, and business development professionals.PMP Certification is preferred.Experience with Salesforce is preferred.All applicants must be United States Citizens.. The candidate must be able to clear a Public Trust clearance as well in order to commence work.
