The Senior Marketing Specialist is responsible for all local marketing activities tied to pursuing and securing business while ensuring consistent alignment companywide. In this role, you will ensure that everything created and disseminated internally and externally attains the highest level of excellence and differentiation in the marketplace. We are looking for someone with a background in graphic design and / or writing who is excited to join one of the most dynamic and quickly growing industries. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment, where deliverables are often developed under tight timeframes. These deliverables include proposals, presentations, branded merchandise, public relations campaigns, and other marketing strategies. This role is an in-person role based in Bellevue, Washington. If you are energized and excited at the thought of being instrumental in the rapid growth of an organization where your ideas and creativity will be heard and appreciated, this role is for you!As a Senior Marketing Specialist, you will serve in the following areas:Pursuits - Responsible for creating and managing all qualification packages, proposal deliverables (RFPs), and presentation materials in the pursuit of winning new work. This includes designing graphics, writing content, assembling materials, meticulously checking details, and project managing each one to meet tight deadlines.Salesforce - Work with Operations and Sales teams to oversee the CRM's data entry and accuracy. This includes running reports, facilitating meetings, and managing the database of contacts, leads, opportunities and projects that move the business forward.Event Management - Ownership of external events for the Washington office. Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to plan client-facing events and manage attendance at industry functions.Communications - Gather information and write messaging that is consistent with our brand voice to support several types of written pieces including employee biographies, website updates, proposal content, blog content, PR, social media posts, and more.Branding - Ensure branding is consistent across all company areas including but not limited to logo wear, signage, templates, screensaver artwork, intranet, etc.Manage Consultants - Manage creative and technical consultants to ensure all assets meet brand guidelines and expectations. This includes videography, photography, and more.Client Acquisition and Retention - Work closely with the sales team to assist in client acquisition, retention and satisfaction strategies as needed.Website - Keep Skyline's external facing website updated using WordPress, including new project case studies, team bios and headshots.You're A Good Fit For This Role Because You:Have a background in graphic design, writing, and/or PR and communications.Have experience managing events calendars and coordinating events.Are creative by nature with a drive to innovate and differentiate.Are confident in communicating with all levels of management and technical staff.Are self-motivated with a high level of initiative to get things done with a positive attitude.Are very organized, efficient, and detail-oriented. Can juggle multiple projects without breaking a sweat when faced with multiple deadlines.Are flexible with a team player mindset.Are a jack of all trades.
