On this basis, we work together with all major auditing firms, banks and law firms in Luxembourg for the benefit of our clients.After setting up our latest additional jurisdiction, United Kingdom, we are now looking to expand to Germany.Tax AdvisorYour mission:Ensuring compliance with German tax laws and regulations for an international client base, including but not limited to income tax, corporate tax, VAT, and transfer pricingSupport international clients in tax due diligence, structuring acquisitions, mergers, and other transactions to minimize tax risksAddress cross-border tax issues and ensure compliance with international tax treaties to prevent double taxation and optimize tax efficiencyPrepare and review tax returns, and other tax-related documents for international clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirementsRepresent clients in tax audits, disputes, and negotiations with tax authorities in Germany, advocating for favourable outcomes and resolutionsStay up to date with changes in German tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide timely and accurate services to our clientsTaking care of the day-to-day accounting, including the creation of financial statementsResponsible for entries in the German Commercial Register and regulatory filingsYour profile:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCertified Tax Advisor (Steuerberater) qualification in Germany is requiredMinimum of 6 years of relevant experience in German taxation, preferably with a focus on serving international clients, particularly investment management firmsIn-depth knowledge of German tax laws, regulations, and procedures, with a strong understanding of international tax principles and cross-border taxation issuesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, third parties and colleaguesStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detailYou are fluent in German and EnglishExceptional performance and demonstrated leadership may lead to the possibility of assuming the role of Managing Director or other executive positionsWhat you can expect:Set up of a new officeGood work-life-balance and flexible working hoursTraining for your individual career developmentAdditional benefits to be discussed and implementedThe place of work will be in the Trier region.
