At Saltwater Games we follow some key values:We are optimistic & braveWe are honest & openWe take ownership & responsibilityABOUT YOU:We're looking for someone with solid Games production leadership who is self-motivated and will take ownership of the project and team to bring it to the highest possible quality.A passion for games across different platforms specifically VR/MRFull game lifecycle knowledge managing all stages of development through to execution; comfortable in both the formative stages of a project through to effective live operationSolid management of Project timelines, roadmaps, and building robust reportingAbility to comfortably manage the Project budgets and forecasts with regular review and management ensuring a sustainable split of Permanent versus Contract/FTC mixLeadership qualities to manage stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and transparency of issues that may ariseWork with QA internal and external to oversee testing of features through to release and post support ensuring test plans are in placeExcellent knowledge of production methodologies and frameworks, coupled with the ability to instill team-based ownership and ability to implement best practice into both the Product and Game developmentExperience of bug tracking management utilising best practices to manage appropriatelyAn excellent delegator; encouraging engagement, ownership, and accountability within mixed-discipline teams, and with communication skillsHappy to work across multiple projects, platforms and teams as neededAble to receive feedback openly & adjust leadership style and way of workingA track record of delivering projects on time and within budget5+ years production experience in video gamesA solid knowledge of project management tooling with a good understanding on how to set them up to generate meaningful data and ensure is used to support the best delivery methodDESIRABLE:Scrum/Agile certificationKnowledge of Click up tool or similarKnowledge or passion for VR/MR GamingRequirementsAs a member of our team, Producers are central to our development team's ongoing success. As an Executive Producer, you will play the Lead role in setting up and running our next IPs project from the ground up. Reporting to the Head of Studio, you will carefully balance your efforts between game delivery, setting the development team up for success, and being an advocate for the process.Ownership of production on cross-functional teams and lead multiple initiatives in parallelYou will have responsibility for the overarching backlogs together with your teams; setting goals, planning sprints or milestones and encouraging commitment. You will ensure these goals support the overall project directionYou will ensure an implementation of a robust Delivery framework and ensure processes are put in place to be successfulCreate project data and modeling to support effective decision-making, ensure predictable delivery and do so at a sustainable paceYou will work to predict and remove roadblocks before they become an issueManagement of stakeholders, highlighting deviations and adjustments to plansFull RAID managementBe part of the leadership team in making key decisions for the future of the projectsBe a key communicator across the studio ensuring alignment is agreed between different internal and external stakeholders and 3rd partiesWork with outsourcers to obtain key deliveries aligned against the strategic roadmap.
