Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Internal Key Account Manager to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Winchester. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for supporting Sales reps on the road to build, maintain and grow long term relationships with a portfolio of customer accounts, whilst delivering a world-class customer experience.This role is suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy, energetic environment for a forward thinking manufacturing business who really do put people at the heart of everything they do.Responsibilities:Work alongside an External Sales Rep on a set portfolio of customer accounts, to ensure all incoming leads/opportunities are qualified and followed up effectively until completionEnsuring the external Sales Rep has all the resources and customer information needed ahead of customer visitsResponsible for booking face to face meetings for the Sales rep on a weekly basis (20 appointments per week)Providing assigned customer base with quotations and answers to queries as neededLiaising with Purchasing to communicate upcoming spending changes of your accountsFollowing through internal processes to ensure that customer needs are always put first and that their timing requirements are metMonitoring account spending trends, highlighting variances and assisting in creating a plan for account growthBe the go-to resource for the customer and owning the customer relationship.Assisting the team with high-priority customer related issuesRecord all activities and customer data on the CRM in a timely manner.Creating accurate and detailed forecasting for assigned accounts.Reporting monthly on lapsing and growing accounts and create suggested actionsRequirementsProven experience as an Internal Sales Executive or Key Account ManagerSales driven with a commercially orientated mindsetAbility to work to KPI's and targetsIdeally have some industry experience within manufacturing environmentsAbility to work at pace, following sales processes and multitasking.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key clientsStrong negotiation and communication skillsAbility to analyse market trends and adapt sales strategies accordinglyExcellent organizational and time management skillsHigh level of communication skills, both verbal and writtenWorking hours: Monday to Friday 07.30am - 4.30pmBenefitsSalary: £30,000 - £40,000 (DOE)Company wide bonus scheme33 days holiday (including bank holidays)Daily free lunch and refreshmentsAccess to Lifeworks perks and discount schemeEmployee recognition and rewardsAdditional holiday after 2 years of serviceNest pension schemeUniversal Business Team
