Job Description

Provide essential administrative support for timetabling and assessment within the Academic Support Office.Handle everything from exam scheduling and results reporting to class registration and room allocations.Salary packaging, subsidised health and wellbeing services, and a 25% discount on graduate courses to our staff and their immediate families!About the RoleAs an Academic Programs Officer, you will contribute to a variety of tasks including assessment procedures, examination processes, results reporting, class scheduling, and liaison with academic staff. Additionally, you will assist in managing timetables for the Juris Doctor, Melbourne Law Masters, and breadth courses.Under the guidance of the Program Delivery Manager, you'll manage your own workload, juggle multiple deadlines, and provide expert advice on university regulations.Your responsibilities will include:Providing advice to academic staff and students on results, assessment, timetables, and class registration, while also assisting with the planning, administration, collation, and uploading of all examination results.Updating the Learning Management System, StudentOne, and University handbook, identifying students requiring priority marking for graduation, coordinating class registration, and entering and monitoring timetabling data.Providing Executive Officer support to committees, ensuring accurate record keeping for Academic Misconduct cases, and undertaking other activities to support the Teaching and Learning team.Who We Are Looking ForYou will excel in interpersonal and relationship management, effectively liaise with diverse individuals, and demonstrate clarity and diplomacy in communication. Your strong organisational skills, ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, and commitment to high-quality client service will ensure you succeed in this role.You also have:An appropriate qualification or a combination of relevant experience and education.Strong organisational acumen to ensure tasks are completed promptly and efficiently, coupled with adept planning and prioritisation abilities to oversee task completion.This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
