Job Title: Service Desk Engineer (End User Support) - this is an apprenticeship role.Hours: 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday.Location: Based from our Newcastle office. We have great relationships with our vendors, and we’re a Microsoft Gold Partner, AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, Palo Alto Platinum Innovator, F5 Gold Partner, Qlik Elite Partner, Alteryx Premier Partner and more!What you'll do:Working within the End User Support team, the Service Desk Engineer provides technical support and maintenance to all supported IT business users, systems, hardware, and applications. Whilst providing expert technical support, the Service Desk Engineer will ensure incidents and requests are resolved in an efficient and professional manner in line with service level commitments.We're looking for someone withThis is an apprenticeship role, so a strong desire to gain knowledge and develop skills is crucial.Previous customer service experience; with a passion for providing exceptional levels of customer service.You'll need a basic understanding of the Microsoft suite including Windows 10 Desktop and 365 applications.An interest in technology (demostrated through qualifications, work, or hobbies), and the advantages IT brings to businesses.Excellent communication skills including a great telephone manner and strong written skills.A strong work ethic and the ability to collaborate effectively with people across all teams.Whilst the above provides an idea of the type of person we're looking for, we have exceptional training and development capabilities here at Cybit.
