Step Teachers are working with a primary school with a 'Golden Thread Curriculum' which is run alongside an academic curriculum which enables children to apply/develop key life skills and become confident learners with a positive growth mindset, to find a Supply Teacher to join their team in September 2024. The Supply Teacher will be supporting a class of well-behaved and enthusiastic pupils with a pre-planned lesson structure provided. The Supply Teacher should be passionate and ready to engage with their students, contributing to the school's polite, friendly and safe educational atmosphere.Supply Teacher - Role:Able to deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.Maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.Work effectively with other members of staff throughout the school.Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.Compliance with the schools' policies and the reliable implementation of these.Supply Teacher - Requirements:Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.Have recent experience as a Year 1 Teacher in a primary school.Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.Why Step Teachers?With a rich history spanning over two decades, our teacher recruitment agency proudly serves North London, East London, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire, Cornwall, and Devon.
