Along with the wider Product Development team, you'll be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle including gathering requirements, solution design, development, testing and deployment.Mid-level opportunity for a Full Stack engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience.Key Responsibilities:Work with a modern stack which includes Node, React, Postgres, Mongodb and Redis - all running in AWSDevelop front-end and back-end code using TypeScript/JavaScript technologies (NodeJS, React) and associated web technologies (HTML, CSS)Help us build microservices using Docker, Kubernetes and AWS.Build quality software using tools such as JIRA and BitbucketApply and promote high-quality engineering practicesProvide relative estimates for the development effort, validate, and improve continuouslyProvide operational support of the solution, responding to production alarms on a rostered basisKey Experience and Capabilities:A Bachelor's degree or equivalent technology qualification3 years practical experience developing software solutions in a comparable software stackBackend development skills using TypeScript and/or JavaScript in NodeJS or other languages such as Java, Python and C#Front End Skills using TypeScript and/or JavaScript and a modern framework such as React, Angular and VueSolid understanding of security, web standards and architectureAbility to understand both functional and non-functional requirements of a solution which are built for scaleStrong JavaScript background in web applications and Node.jsGood principles of software design and architectureRESTFul API designUnderstanding of relational database conceptsExperience working with non-trivial SPAsWhy work with us?We're a diverse, global team committed to a product and mission we believe in.
