Vaco Staffing is looking for a Revenue Manager for a global logistics company in Jacksonville.Job Description- The Revenue Manager is a strong hands-on leader reporting directly to the SVP of Finance who will lead revenue recognition policy, processes and reportingResponsibilities:Supervise staff activities by providing direction and guidance in work assignments and ensuring the timely and accurate completion of tasks.Create and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly metrics to staff and management.Own the accuracy, timeliness and integrity of the order-to-cash processProcess cash applications for all customers and reconcile any discrepancies weeklyManage and maintain the monthly revenue (calendar, reviews, reconciliations, reporting) metrics, reports and reconciliationWork with Settlements to ensure alignment with revenue recognition and contractor / carrier expensesDevelops, coaches and supports the revenue accounting team to maximize individual and team performanceFormalize revenue recognition policies and procedures and communicate with the appropriate parties to ensure compliance and alignment with customer requirementsEstablish standard processes for new client onboarding to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of invoicing, accounting and reportingIdentify opportunities and lead improvements in the invoicing processes to improve timeliness and accuracyEstablish strong relationships with operational leaders to learn the business, ensure their understanding of their responsibilities within the invoicing process, and provide training as necessaryWork closely with IT to develop standard data collection practices to support automated invoicing processesEnsure appropriate levels of documentation on invoicing processes to ensure business continuityQualifications:Minimum 3 years of accounting experienceBA/BS degree in AccountingExperience and ability to analyze complex process flows and recommend, as well as implement, changes to improve staff efficiencies and resultsAbility to learn and effectively use software applicationsExperience and ability to manage and motivate employees to achieve objectivesExperience and ability to interact with all levels of management within the organizationDemonstrated competence in analytical techniquesExperience and ability to prioritize and multi-task in high volume deadline driven environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced Excel skillsDemonstrated ability to take ownership for projects and drive to completionVaco
