Primed and ready, quietly delivering some of the world's cleanest water for over five million residents and wildlife that call Melbourne home -just as we have for almost 130 years.If you value making it count, diving in with curiosity, and doing what's right, you're in the right place.About the RoleReporting to the Stores Lead, you'll be responsible for the development, implementation and running of physical stores and all store related procedures including stock levels, performance, procurement, security, operations and logistics.You will manage scheduled and breakdown maintenance requirements for all plant, tools and equipment and be responsible for recommending and maintaining ordering levels of stock to support efficiency in delivery timeframes for programs of work orders.This role ensures budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met and all stores transaction and equipment maintenance records are tracked and managed within Melbourne Water's asset maintenance management systems. You will identify innovative solutions and products, to achieve practical results and improvements, delivering projects from inception to full implementation.About youTo be successful in this role you will have:Excellent communication and customer service skillsBe confident to work autonomously with minimal supervisionAn understanding of stores and maintenance procedureAdvanced problem-solving skills, a proactive approach and be results-oriented.For more information, please review the Position Description:This is a full time role, based at Brooklyn.
