We are a dedicated and inspiring team of 22 that put our values of comfort, creativity and celebration into everything we do.SUMMARY OF THE ROLEAs Operations Coordinator at Desmond & Dempsey, you will be at the heart of our logistics and operations, ensuring the seamless movement of goods and efficient daily processes. Reporting to our Head of Operations, you will collaborate with various departments at D&D, including our production, wholesale, and merchandising teams.We are looking for a highly organised individual with excellent attention to detail and outstanding communication skills. Your ability to problem-solve and find solutions will ensure that D&D’s operations run smoothly and efficiently, making you key to D&D’s success!RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate Stock Movements and Deliveries: Handle all stock transfers between our factories, studio and 3PLs in London, Leeds, and Ohio. Creating pre-advices for inbounds, tracking shipment ETA’s and meeting delivery deadlines.Manage Wholesale Order shipping: Ship and track wholesale orders from dispatch to delivery, managing any courier or customs issues, resolving order errors and issuing invoices. You will ensure an exceptional wholesale customer experience throughout, alongside our Wholesale Coordinator.UK 3PL Contact: Act as the daily point of contact for our main UK 3PL, conduct bi-weekly calls, visit the site once a year, track SLAs, send weekly forecasts, and implement new processes.Freight and Courier Management: Build and maintain relationships with freight forwarding partners and courier account managers such as DHL, supporting all D&D departments with shipping requirements and related paperwork.Packaging Orders: Manage forecasts and re-orders of our bespoke D&D packaging, whilst building strong relationships with various suppliers.Inventory and Stock Checks: Perform inventory checks and resolve discrepancies alongside our Merchandising Manager to ensure stock accuracyProcess Improvement: Continuously observe, review, and analyse processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.YOUR PROFILE1-2 years in operations, supply chain, logistics, or a similar role. Experience in fashion is a plus.High level of organisation and time management, with the ability to multitask across multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Outstanding organisational, time management and prioritisation skills.Ability to deliver results under pressure and to tight deadlines.Capability to work both under direction as part of a team and independently on assigned tasks.Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Google Sheets.
