You will design the network for Amazon to go via Rail in a reliable, fast, efficient, and carbon friendly manners.This person should be an articulate individual, analytical, a process improvement expert, and should possess excellent written/verbal communication skills to influence positive outcomes for Amazon's customers as well as an eye for automation.Key job responsibilitiesYou would be a great fit for this role if you enjoy:Overseeing complex, cross functional programs with internal and external stakeholdersOwning Amazon Rail's North Star and its development cyclesEngaging with Rail partners to drive Amazon's sustainability goalsLeveraging large data and performance metrics to drive business resultsLeading business reviews with Amazon leadership and senior-level Rail executivesPartnering with finance, legal and network teams to shape future growth plans and guide Rail and landside partners through new launches and other special projectsWilling to travel up to 15%A day in the lifeReview the performance and attainment with our internal supporting functions and our external Rail and Terminal partnersTrack the progress of upcoming expansionsBuild business case and design network on new corridor expansionsDiscuss with the BI team on data-tracking progress in our collaborating portsDiscuss new operating model and data accuracy with our Legal, Finance and Network teamEnhance operational performance on every programme in partnership with your stakeholders by leading specific efficiency improvement programs for Rail WHT.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degreeKnowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQLExperience in program or project managementExperience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teamsExperience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metricsExperience in supply chainExperience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvementsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadershipExperience leading process improvementsExperience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organizationExperience building processes, project management, and schedulesAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
