Come and join us in building the infrastructure our planet needs to achieve a sustainable future.Job DescriptionBenefitsFriendly, inclusive and supportive team environmentFast-paced and active position engaging with wide range of stakeholdersJoin a VIC Big Build Project – The M80 Ring RoadSite Based position working from our offices in Bundoora and WatsoniaThe ProjectThe M80 Ring Road Alliance (comprising ACCIONA, MACA, and AECOM) has been selected to design and construct the M80 Ring Road Completion.The project will deliver a major upgrade of the M80 Ring Road between the M80-Plenty Road interchange and the North East Link tunnel entrance at Watsonia, providing a seamless connection to North East Link. Works includes the construction of 14 kilometres of new lanes, bulk earthworks, retaining walls, bridge structures, rail interface works, intelligent transport systems, urban design and landscaping. This diverse and challenging project will be complete in 2028.Key accountabilities for the positionProvide a tender price analysis to demonstrate best for project pricing against budget estimate.Ensure all requisitions are coded to the correct cost code with the assistance of budget owners.Data entry process of purchase orders as required through LinkedSite.All purchases must have a signed off purchase requisition before placing any purchase orders.Correlation of purchase orders and purchase requisitions with invoicesMeet deadlines for day-to-day site requirements as requested by the superintendent / and or project / site engineersAssist superintendent / and or project / site engineers with ad hoc purchases required from suppliers for site.Develop and maintain relationships that support the best interests of the project.Demonstrated communications and relationship management ability including customer service orientation towards internal customers and stakeholdersRequired Skills and CompetenciesSound written and verbal communication skills, planning and organisation skillsProficient skills in the following software: MS Excel, MS Word, email.Experience working in the construction or building industry preferredAbility and willingness to adapt, quickly learn and use new skills and knowledge brought about by rapidly changing structure, process, information and/or technology#LI-LG1ACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023 & 2024 certification in Australia, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
