Job DescriptionJetfly is a shared business aviation company based in Luxembourg on behalf of 450 co-owners. Our fleet is composed of 60 Pilatus aircraft (PC12 and PC24). The Pilatus has come to exemplify the unique combination of Swiss engineering and dedicated craftsmanship, yielding a superior flight, passenger, and operator experience that is truly beyond comparison. Also, a brand-new aircraft has recently joined our fleet: the Cirrus SF50, the world's first single-engine private jet.Jetfly is actively seeking for a Travel/Crewing Officer on a permanent full-time contract.The Crewing Officer is part of the Crewing and Scheduling Team and is responsible for following up on the complete pilot roster. The task involves organizing Jetfly crew members' daily travel, taking into account all operational factors and dealing with the most challenging travel challenges. The Crewing Officer ensures compliance with the travel policy and optimizes travel costs in a constantly changing environment.Job descriptionEnsure safe and standard operations.Take actions contributing to flight safety by reducing pilot fatigue as much as possible (day-use room, quality meal trays, selection of comfortable and quiet hotels, etc...).Main contact point for the company’s crew members regarding short term travel needs, change of flight schedules, hotel accommodation and transportation.Monitor and ensure compliance with FTL regulations and legal requirements.Daily reporting on crew status and crew activities.Works in close cooperation with other operational departments to maintain strong relationships and anticipate any operational disruptions.Works in close cooperation with the travel department. The crewing officer shall report any problems encountered to optimize future travelling need (software, travel policy review).Assists the crewing & scheduling officer in last minute changes and communication to pilots.Keep the crew management system up to date in order to provide Flight Operations management with a clear view of the current situation at any time.ProfileAbility to demonstrate sense of diplomacy without compromising the main goals.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Problem solving and decision making skills.Ability to work under pressure.Fluency in French and English.Able to work in shifts and weekends.Experience in the aviation or travel industry is considered as an asset.Jobs.lu
