Job Description
Leading Financial Services business based in Surrey is recruiting a senior Finance Business Partner.The roles reports to the CFO and partners with senior stakeholders across all parts of the UK business.Build strong partnerships and working relationships across senior business/finance stakeholders and their teams to drive optimal business decisions.- Acting as the primary point of contact for business customers, bridging business activity including new initiatives and wider finance teams, collaborating with appropriate finance subject matter experts to support the business make optimised decisions in the interest of the customer.- Using a strong service/customer mindset, demonstrate an ongoing, practical understanding of the needs of internal and external customers evidenced through outcomes.Provide business analysis and deliver insight with a clear relationship to the delivery of business goals and long-term strategy- Provide financial information, interpretation, and guidance, enabling customer groups to gain a full understanding of the financial implications linked to proposals, evidencing use to drive optimised business decisions.Collation and presentation of financial targets and actual performance to key business stakeholders, influencing change where needed.- Accountable for building and delivering financial performance reporting for business stakeholders focused on identifying areas of corrective action and driving outperformance where opportunities are presented.- Act as the bridge between finance and the business in the budget/forecasting cycle, using a collaborative style of challenge to ensure business targets are well understood and deadlines are met.Critically assess & support emerging business initiatives spanning key financial, commercial and operational business parameters.- Accountable for delivering comprehensive financial business cases, ensuring the development and socialisation of output is managed within the business case governance framework.- Proactively connect business change plans with the wider finance team to ensure the operational, financial and risk impact of new initiatives are clear and approved by the Finance Leadership Team- Accountable for delivering post implementation initiative tracking, reporting actual performance against business case targets.Work closely with the Financial planning and Analysis team- Act as the key interface into relevant business areas leading the delivery of key Group Finance driven activity (e.g. planning and forecasting cycles)- Ensure that deliverables are accurate, within agreed scope and delivered in a timely manner.- Support FP&A with ad-hoc analysis / context to address performance related queries.Well-known Financial Services business |Partnering with senior stakeholders across the UK businessTo be considered, you will be an experienced Finance Business Partner.
