With planning approval and Government financing support, the project is now under construction and seeking private investment. Once completed, it will supply dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, aiding Britain in achieving Net Zero by 2050.We're looking for a number of Project Managers from the construction or energy sector to join our expanding site team, working on site in Leiston.These are pivotal roles key to the success of the team in at this early stage, and you'll be joining the project at a vital time in its construction, with an opportunity to grow with the project.Job Purpose / OverviewYou'll be based on site, responsible for delivering a section of the site depending on your specific scope, within budget and on schedule to support the successful build of the project.You will be responsible for the following:Lead and manage on-site project activities, ensuring adherence to time-lines and budgets.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project objectives and milestones.Implement best practices in project management to optimise efficiency and quality.Oversee contractor and subcontractor activities, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring smooth project progression.Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have:Proven experience as a Project Manager in large-scale infrastructure or energy projects, major complex projects size approx. £18 mil plus, such as HS2, HPC, Thames Tideway, CrossRail, Transport for London (TfL).Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards in the energy or construction sector.Experience with NEC contracts with multiprogram construction background.NEC 3 /4 or Construction qualifications or other relevant memberships.Ability to deliver contacts scope within fast pace and changing environment.It'd be great if you've got a qualification in engineering, construction management, or a related field.#DestinationNuclearApplication Information:If this sounds of interest, please APPLY NOW with your CV and a cover letter highlighting your suitability for this exciting role.Good Luck!This vacancy is being advertised by Rullion Ltd acting as an employment business.Since 1978, Rullion has been securing exceptional candidates for a range of clients; from large well-known brands to SMEs and start-ups.
