For more than 30 years, we’ve developed and launched compelling, inventive communications campaigns that have supported clients in many sectors: education, the military, health care, government, nonprofits, and more.What It Means to be a Reingold Instructional Design InternAs an ID intern, you will meaningfully contribute to your projects as a valued member of your team, while being supported by our structured internship program. Reingold’s program provides regular check-ins, professional development and learning opportunities, and fun team bonding events.ID interns will learn the ins and outs of the training department while collaborating with and learning from other departments across Reingold. You’ll gain hands-on development experience, hone your ADDIE and project management skills, and gain exposure to a range of industries. Interns work directly with experienced, passionate consultants and creative specialists. We’re all about initiative, and we encourage interns to tailor their experience to their interests and strengths!Your day-to-day duties may include, but are not limited to:Gaining exposure to a variety of workstreams and beginning to build foundational instructional design skills.Displaying soft skills for communicating professionally.Performing hands-on, entry-level instructional design tasks that may include researching, drafting course materials, and conducting quality control activitiesA Reingold intern must have the following qualifications and skills:Demonstrable experience in designing e-learning experiencesKnowledge of learning science and evidence-based design standardsAbility to communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writingStrong collaboration skillsEagerness to learn by doingCuriosity and creativityProfessional approachOur internships are great for recent college graduates, graduate school students, and anyone serious about pursuing a career in communications. We can’t wait for you to join us!Internships are full time (40 hours) during the standard workweek and pay an hourly rate of $20. The Fall 2024 internship class begins on Tuesday, September 3 and runs through Friday, December 13. Core hours during the internship are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern time.
