The team employs human centred design methods, systems thinking and improvement methodology to deliver large scale strategic projects and to drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation.The Service Design and Improvement team are responsible for:Service Design - delivery of large-scale service design projects aligned with strategic prioritiesContinuous Improvement - foster continuous improvement throughout the organization through learning, coaching and systemsSimulation - delivery of learning and simulation centres for staff and partners to come together to share and test new ideas, learn from and connect with one another, and improve capability through experiential learning.Management of the Hub - Alfred Health's innovation centre used for workshops, learning, library services and caféLibrary services for Alfred Health employees and partnersAbout the roleThe Manager Service Design and Improvement is a dynamic leader who plays a pivotal role in the delivery of strategic service design projects, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and embedding a patient and employee centred lens into everything we do. The Manager will bring strong thought leadership, an ability to partner with executives across the organisation and exceptional project management skills to deliver a pipeline of strategic projects. The role manages a team of design consultants with broad capabilities across service design, simulation, health technology, human factors, project management and improvement science.
