Learn more .About the teamThe IT team is a diverse team spread geographically throughout offices within Australia. The team works closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) and other business areas on both ICT and internal business projects and applications to ensure the organisation is positioned to meet the requirements of our external clients.The work we do involves both back of house applications and processes, and assisting our client facing teams and colleagues to find efficiencies and improve the way they work.Current opportunityAs a result of our exponential growth, we are looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to contribute to the success of the firm by working closely with internal stakeholders, IT and the PMO teams to understand current application needs and constraints, document business requirements, assist in application comparison, development and testing of solutions, and assist with application implementations and transitions.You’ll be reporting to the Business Systems Manager and your main responsibilities will include:Understanding the needs of the business through stakeholder meetings, both one on one and leading facilitation workshopsEffective business requirements gathering by analysing and documenting business processes, through process mapping, writing user stories and developing acceptance criteriaComparison of business requirements for different application solutions to determine best fitAssisting in the business system selection process by using identified business requirements to understand the needs of the business and comparing to proposed solutions to be able to provide a recommendationIdentifying risks, issues and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impactsProactively identifying opportunities for process improvementsUndertaking planning and execution of enhancements, implementation, transition and decommissioning of applicationsWhat you’ll need to succeedOur ideal candidate is highly motivated, analytical and thrives in an ever-changing environment.
