UGL is an employer with a difference, jump on board and experience our incredible journeyAbout the roleAn opportunity exists to join UGL's systems engineering team in a senior role responsible for the effective deployment of RAM (reliability, availability and maintainability) analysis on multiple major inter-disciplinary Projects.Develop the Systems Assurance related documentation, process guidelines to support the business.Define and monitor effective implementation of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS) processesEstablish clear communication, solid lines of control and delegation to sub-ordinates and actively create and maintain a culture of openness, responsiveness, honest, ethics and responsibility across the team.Audit and improve the assurance life cycle processes as described in UGL Way or equivalentAttend meetings and workshops with the various internal and external project stakeholdersAbout You· Proven experience in the deployment of RAM analyses on complex systems· Knowledge and experience in application of major RAM standards including IEC 61508 and EN 50126· An ability to understand complex mechanical and electrical systems sufficiently to illustrate their functionality in views that support pragmatic and efficient detailed RAM analysis· Experience in detailed RAM analysis using recognised specialist software (e.g. Isograph)· Ability to supervise other RAM engineers and meet Project requirements for RAM deliverables· Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externallyUGL – Big projects.
