Job DescriptionDESCRIPTIONAmazon’s European Transportation Network Design team is responsible for getting Amazon packages to customers more reliably, faster, cheaper, and with a lower carbon intensity, while managing to grow the shipped volume by double digits every year.As a Program Manager for Network Design, you'll lead programs focusing on driving strategic initiatives and solving recurring problems around delivery quality, speed, cost and carbon across EU . You don't just solve problems once, you build new tools and improve processes to make sure the problems stay solved. You’ll work closely with a range of Amazon colleagues to understand how they work, and what you and your teams can learn, as well as sharing your own expertise. Together, you’ll identify exciting new opportunities and will take the lead when it comes to designing their implementation.You’ll encourage and support your teams and colleagues to meet important deliverables, while proactively looking for new, data-backed ways we could do things better. Your work will be integral to your team’s success.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degreeKnowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQLExperience in program or project managementExperience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teamsExperience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metricsExperience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvementsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadershipExperience leading process improvementsExperience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organizationExperience building processes, project management, and schedulesAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
