Assist with the first year administration of the Doctor of Medicine Program.Great opportunity to work in the Melbourne Medical School in a supportive and collaborative team.Salary packaging, subsidised health and wellbeing services, fitness and cultural clubs, Myki discounts, and a 25% discount on graduate courses to our staff and their immediate families!About the RoleThe Students and Programs Officer, part of the Academic Programs Team in the Department of Medical Education, supports the delivery of the flexible and individualised Doctor of Medicine (MD) program. This role involves general subject administration, exam organisation, and stakeholder management, ensuring quality service to students, academic, and professional staff. The incumbent will also contribute to process improvements, planning, and promotional activities, working closely with team leaders and coordinators within the Melbourne Medical School.Your responsibilities will include:Administering a portfolio of academic programs for the Doctor of Medicine (MD), including subject administration, invigilation of written exams (BYOD delivery), and Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs).Completion of a range of student lifecycle activities for allocated subject(s)Provide secretarial support to course and subject committees as directedManagement of student enquiries via OneCRMWho We Are Looking ForThe ideal candidate exhibits strong communication and teamwork skills, coupled with a meticulous attention to detail. They bring innovative thinking to continuously improve departmental processes, supported by excellent planning, organisational, and time management abilities. Additionally, they excel in liaising with and adapting to diverse stakeholders.You will also have:Degree with subsequent relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/trainingDemonstrated experience in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet and emailPlanning and organisational skills with a capability for multi-tasking and prioritisation, problem solving and effective time managementFor further information regarding responsibilities and requirements, please refer to the attached PD.This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University.
