An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Urgent Care team for the role of Base Team Lead. This role will provide vital support to our Urgent Care service working as one of our dedicated team of Urgent Care Base Team Leads across our operational bases in Chippenham, Keynsham, Salisbury and Swindon. The role will be based at our Head Office in Chippenham.Previous experience of working within an operational role within a healthcare setting is desired.About the roleThe Urgent Care Base Team Lead plays a pivotal role in providing a professional and responsive central point of reference to health and social care professionals, as well as carrying out other support functions as directed by the Urgent Care teams at both the Call Centre and OOH bases.Working as a single point of contact for health and social care professionals, you will provide guidance and assistance to achieve the required outcome for our patients and clients. You will support the Urgent Care Team in providing a quality and professional interface between external and internal stakeholders in the delivery of our services along with ensuring our bases are fully maintained and quality checks are completed and documented to ensure compliance.Day to day, your duties will include but not be limited to:Line management of the Urgent Care team at your designated baseSupporting and supervising all members of the Urgent Care team in delivering a high-quality service to patientsAssist in the recruitment of new employees across the IUC Service, to include interviewing, induction and trainingGuiding and advising health and social care professionals through the process of achieving the required outcomes for their patients/clientsLiaising with allied health and social care agencies to facilitate the patient/client journey through the Medvivo service or direction to appropriate alternative serviceSupervising Medvivo operational teams and acting as the first point of reference to resolve issues that may occur during the shiftAbout YouThe ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:An ability to work autonomously and flexibly to assist both external and internal stakeholders in achieving the outcome of outstanding patient care for our Urgent Care serviceA focus on service delivery at all times especially during unpredictable workloadsExperience of analysing and reviewing data and procedures such as Standard Operating Procedures and monthly reportingA strong ability to converse with members of the Medvivo team at all levelsExcellent written and oral communication skillsHigh levels of attention to detail, accuracy and consistent follow throughA good working knowledge of MS Office suiteWhat we offerCompetitive salary plus enhancementsDiscretionary staff bonus schemeFree staff parkingGenerous holiday entitlement of up to 33 days per annum inclusive of bank holidaysCompany Pension SchemeSimply Health cash plan membershipLife AssuranceAbout us:Medvivo Group has been providing a range of health and urgent care services since 2004.
