It includes overseeing the prompt and precise publication of unit prices for Unit Trusts, ACS, and OEICs. Additionally, it involves supporting continuous due diligence on supplier accounting and valuation practices that LGIM has entrusted to a third party.What you'll be doing:The price validation process for Unit Trusts, ACS, and OEICs involves conducting daily tolerance checks against benchmarks or comparative data within strict deadlinesTo proactively identify areas of concern and suggest enhancements to procedures where weaknesses or potential efficiencies are identified, demonstrating a clear and risk-based approach to outsourcing arrangementsConduct operational controls within the Cardiff Fund Oversight team, ensuring that Third Party Administrators are provided with the necessary data for fund valuation production and operational controls to guarantee compliance with regulations, such as Fund Manager sign-offTo ensure that responses are provided promptly to the TPA or internal stakeholders, it is crucial that valuations are completed both accurately and expedientlyMaintaining operational relationships within LGIM and with outsourced partners is crucial, ensuring that all parties fulfill their responsibilities in line with regulatory guidelines. This involves coordination with fund managers, operational teams, and relevant stakeholders to guarantee the prompt and precise resolution of issuesThe objective is to analyze, investigate, interpret, and communicate the causes of breaches, propose improvements to existing processes to reduce risks associated with outsourced products, and ensure the implementation of a robust Root Cause Analysis program. It also involves challenging Third Party Administrators to strive for continuous improvement and preparing reports for Committees and Directors as necessaryApplying a detailed understanding of financial markets, complex market instruments, and practices, as well as Unit Trust product features, is essential for conducting the daily valuation of Unit Trusts in a controlled manner. Completing c20 operational controls is crucial to verify the integrity of the daily valuations, proactively identify areas of concern, and improve procedures where weaknesses or potential efficiencies are identifiedQualificationsWho we're looking for:Strong knowledge of Unit Trusts, ACS and OEIC in particular, with some knowledge of SICAV, UCITS ICAV, QIAIF ICAV, CCF, QIAIF, Liquidity, ETF, CIT and Pooled FundsTechnical product oversight and guidance on fund investmentsA strong understanding of regulatory standards for pricing and valuations within the UK and internationallyA strong understanding of fund valuations and the componentsA strong understanding of supplier relationshipsIOC Levels 1-3 beneficialSubstantial financial services industry experience requiredWhatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
