Provide guidance of product functionality to development teams.Prioritize Needs – Understand, define, and communicate the prioritization of product requirements expressed as stories in the product backlog with a mind toward business value, flow, and tradeoffs.Act as a Servant Leader – Actively manage business risks, issues, & impediments expressed by the delivery team. Attend agile ceremonies to ensure that development work is aligned with the roadmap.Enhance Quality – Build quality into acceptance criteria and accept all work increments produced by the development team. Track progress on release and completion. Integrate with the other business product lines and technology to align your product’s strategy with the overall needs directed by the business line and technology executives.Level of Complexity – Manage risks of judgment with a serious impact on the success of your product. Supports innovative strategic thinking by identifying and presenting industry trends and opportunities.What We ExpectA degree in Business/Finance, Computer Science or equivalent fieldAt least 6 years of global experience in a Trade Surveillance or Surveillance Product roleA collaborative spirit, able to translate customer requirements clearly into user storiesAn understanding of the customers’ business and the ability to creatively solve for the “jobs to be done”An analytical approach to solving business problems through iterative practicesExperience using JIRA and ConfluenceData analytics skills working in tools such as Excel, Filters, Pivot Tables etc.Ability to engage and collaborate closely with external clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholdersA strong inner drive and motivation, thriving in a fast-paced environmentFlexibility to take some meetings outside of work hoursWhat Would Be HelpfulAgile product experienceProficiency in R, Python, or NotebookExperience in the functionality and use of SMARTS Trade Surveillance (STS) core applicationDeep understanding of Nasdaq Trade Surveillance (STS) alerts and Fav dataDoes It Sound Like You?Please follow through by clicking the “Apply” link and submitting your application.
