Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network, Port Augusta Hospital, Port AugustaSalary: $121,537 - $126,970 p.a (pro rata) - Ongoing Part Time - RN/M3Multiple Positions AvailableThe RoleThe After-Hours Manager leverages their clinical expertise to provide vital support services to Nurse/Midwife Unit Managers and Nursing Directors across various aspects of nursing and midwifery practice. This pivotal role encompasses staffing methodologies, recruitment, human resources, financial administration, patient flow, and accreditation processes, among others.In this role, employees uphold accountability for nursing and midwifery management outcomes, ensuring alignment with policies and fostering a safe, positive work environment that prioritizes patient outcomes. They oversee specific portfolios, coordinate projects for enhanced service delivery, and manage operational aspects such as staff allocation, patient flow, and health service management during after-hours.Operating with autonomy and clinical judgment, the After-Hours Manager navigates complex clinical and staffing decisions, oversees clinical risk management, and handles adverse events effectively.
