We provide training to help ensure your success in the role.Make a difference!Position Title: Fingerprinting and Background Check AdministratorLocation: Commissionaires – Divisional Office – Victoria, BCWage: $22.00/hour plus RSPSection: ID ServicesHours: 0800 to 1600, as needed - part-time to start with the potential to grow to full-time (Excluding Stats)JOB DESCRIPTION:Engaging, welcoming and professional approach to customersEfficient delivery of all identification service offerings including; police clearances, fingerprinting, public works clearances, pardons and future new offerings.Liaises with various institutions and organizations relating to clearances and fingerprinting.Ensures the security, privacy and confidentiality of documents.Prepare documentation for invoicing and filesAccurate care with related financial transactionsCollaborates with ID services team and others at CVIY to provide an excellent customer service experienceBrings ideas forward to help with continuous improvements and building businessOther duties as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsA passion for the customer experienceA “can-do” attitudeRespect for the criminal justice system and related requirementsProficiency with MS Office suiteWill learn programs such as CPIC and Live ScanValid BC Drivers license considered an assetAbility to prioritize, multi-task and work under pressure in a dynamic environmentEligible to obtain a Public Works Reliability ClearanceExcellent organizational and time management skillsAttentive to details and strong organizational skillsAbility to problem solvePass a criminal record checkProficiency in other languages considered an assetREWARDSCompetitive Base SalaryRRSP contributions by EmployerGroup-life Insurance and Long-term DisabilityHealth & Dental coverageBC Transit Pro Pass ProgramPaid sick, and vacation timeCommissionaires
