Job Description
Accountant ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent (or finalist)Support the timely and accurate delivery of financial reports in accordance with IFRS and local statutory requirementsPrepare month end reconciliations including - bank reconciliations, fixed asset reconciliations, inventory reconciliations, intercompany and other balance sheet reconciliationsManage accruals and prepaymentsGeneral ledger maintenance and monitoring in line with company policies and J-Sox requirementsUnderstanding journal requests, preparing and processing with appropriate supporting documentationDocument and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactionsWork closely with Transaction Processing team to problem solve and ensure effective collaboration between departmentsProactively support FX position reporting to Treasury teamProactively manage intercompany reports and reconcile variances/ mismatches between intercompany accounts and make proper adjustments where necessaryAnalytical review of monthly financial reports (RPA) by providing detailed narratives to explain variances outside of expectations and above thresholdsEnsure timely delivery of supporting information for internal and external auditsCollaborate with and support business departments and regional corporate departments as requiredCheck double entry, ensure it is correct, check supporting documents.Detailed month end checklistStrong excel skillsProcess and review transaction and journal requestsAnalytical review of P&L and balance sheetMin 3 - 4 years' experience along with SAP experience.Hybrid - 3 days working from home, 2 days office (Central London)HR GO
