We focus on design, construction, installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance, decommissioning and dismantling also covering logistics and documentation.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Steelwork Technical Coordinator to join our team in Bristol on a new project. The key responsibilities of this role includes:Coordinating steelwork platform designs to ensure design is matureLiaising with the building layout and piping teams to coordinate the designSmooting the path for timely engineering deliveryManaging Open Points to mitigation and resolutionMaintaining QA procedures in delivering the SW designManaging engineering changes in line with company proceduresResolving identified technical issuesReceive, analyse and verify the consistency of the input dataManage schedule impacts resulting from changesQualificationsEssential:Design of seismically classified steel platforms and structures from concept to detailed design deliveryUse of 3D modelling and structural analysis toolsKnowledge / Understanding of PWRs would be an advantageKnowledge and understanding of relevant Health and Safety regulationsExperience in the nuclear sector and plant layout engineering would be advantageousKnowledge/understanding of the Eurocodes related to civil engineering and especially knowledge of the design of fastenings and anchorages in concreteKnowledge of the design of reinforced concrete and pre-stressed concrete structuresKnows how to deal with the design and layout constraintsAdditional InformationLong-term contractCompetitive salaryLocation: Bristol3 days on-site optional 2 days WFH20 days’ holiday plus bank holidaysWe are an equal opportunities employer and highly value Diversity and Inclusion.We encourage, welcome and support applications from People of all genders and cultural backgrounds.Your application will be reviewed based on your experience, skills and motivations.Do not hesitate to reach out to us if you need any reasonable adjustments within the recruitment process.We are here to help you be at your best!Segula Technologies
