Job Summary:Conducting repairs and maintenance on a variety of equipment including; snow cats, snow mobiles, excavators, truck fleet, snow plows, industrial and stationary engines, belts, chains, gears, heavy equipment, clutches, couplings and other various heavy equipment.Essential Job Functions:Conducting repairs and maintenance on a variety of equipment including; snow cats, excavators, industrial and stationary engines, belts, chains, gears, heavy equipment, clutches, coupling and other various heavy equipmentTypical repairs include but are not limited to, routine maintenance and repairing engines chassis and body components, hydraulic cylinders, brake systems, suspension systems, cooling systems, wheels and tiresInspecting machines and discovering any functionality issuesTroubleshooting reported problems and resolving them in a timely mannerRoad testing vehicles to troubleshoot problems and/or test repairs to ensure proper and safe completionEnsuring repairs are carried out according to manufacturer's procedures and in a safe and responsible manner, within the designated time frame.Using a large array of hand and power toolsMaintaining the shop as a safe and healthy working environmentPerforming all other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications, Abilities, and Working ConditionsWelding and fabrication experience an assetPrevious ski industry or with related experience an assetValid Class 5 Driver's LicenseGood working knowledge of current WCB regulationsAbility to operate heavy equipment, ATV's and 4x4 trucks in a safe and responsible mannerAbility to operate snow mobiles - training provided on siteGood communication skills, self-motivated, mature, dependable, and able to work well with others in a team environment.Able to work outside in all weather conditionsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsThis position requires flexibility with work schedules including work on weekends, evenings and holidaysCompensation and Benefits$39.20/hour up to $44.53/hourPlus, if applicable: Holiday, weekend, and after hours premium rates.All positions are eligible for the following benefits and perks:Free Seasonal Access PassDiscounts at the resort's restaurants, retail, and rental outletsReferral Bonus ProgramPublic Transit subsidiesFree or discounted lift tickets at many other resorts (winter/summer)Access to free Employee and Family Assistance ProgramExcellent training and professional developmentNorthland Properties friends and family discounts program including hotels, restaurants, and recreation.Full-time, year-round positions are also eligible for these:Health Insurance; Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, and Vision Insurance plansRRSP matching plan after 1 year of serviceFree access passes for dependentsDisclaimerThe prior statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
