Job DescriptionLandewyck, a heritage tobacco manufacturer with over 175 years of history, is evolving. With the changing times, we have embarked on an innovative journey to develop Next Generation Products that meet the diverse needs of consumers worldwide.The Corporate Affairs Director supports the Landewyck Tobacco Management Team for government, regulatory & corporate affairs strategy definition and implementation.Main Accountabilities:Develop Government, Regulatory & Corporate Affairs strategy for the GroupOperationally in charge of Cora in Luxemburg (and Belgium) and on EU levelPropose an action plan for the roll-out of the agreed strategy in conjunction with marketsDefine advocacy topics priorities and targetsCollect relevant information on the tobacco markets, industry, institutions, public and private organizations etc., analyze it and timely provide internal stakeholders with reliable and ready to use insightMain goals & outcomes:Anticipate the changes and propose tailormade adjustmentsMonitor future regulations preparation and identify leverages of actionDevelop advocacy materialsRepresent the Company in NMAs with aim to obtain a positive outcome serving our interestsEstablish and maintain trusted relations with key public stakeholdersEngage with national and EU officials in line with the strategy internally agreedIdentify stakeholders with common interests to support engagement before decision makersAnalyze upcoming regulations and draft guidelines to support internal implementationProvide Top Management and Business with insightful reports and assistance on specific topicsAlert Top Management on potential critical topics putting at risk the Company futurePrepare or contribute to draft presentations for the Budget and various internal/external eventsSupport the sustainability managementManage Corporate CommunicationsProtect the reputation and image of the CompanyEnsure the integrity of all public disclosures by the CompanyYour profile:Master level in Law and/or Political ScienceExcellent understanding of regulatory mattersLanguages: English mandatory, French and German preferred, all other languages are an asset.Minimum experience of 10 years in corporate affairs either in a corporation or political institutionEngaged and committed with a positive attitudeExcellent communicator (oral & writing)/Great public speaking skillsAnalytical minnd, Very rigorous with a deep sense of detailsReliable, Open minded, Creative & Business orientedLeadership, Project management's skills Perfectly autonomous in Word, Excel and PowerpointConsidered as assetGood command of tobacco worldDeep knowledge in tobacco products taxation lawProduct packaging and labeling regulation (focus on EU)Knowledge in new generation products, excise structures and trendsOur offer:Multicultural experience in a Luxembourgish companyA permanent contract, preferably 40 hours per weekFlexible working hours with ongoing trainings, one day homeworking per weekLunch vouchers, free parkingCompetitive package according to the role and responsibilitiesOpportunities to learn about the industry on the first handPlace of work: HollerichAll applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.In the context of recruitment, criminal record no. 3 will be requested.The Landewyck adventure starts now!Jobs.lu
