Description:Responsibilities / Assignment Deliverables1. Conduct workshops with the clients (Occupational Health and Safety) to understand/gather/document system requirements.2. Work with the service delivery partners to build the technical solution in alignment with the requirements.3. Coordinate, test, implement and roll out the solution.4. Provide tier 2 support:a. Investigate incidents and provide timely resolutionb. Work with SDC to confirm defect and find root causec. Support application users (e.g. how to, data issues, user access / permissions, printing, etc.).5. Test application after infrastructure changes.6. Provide support for documents off-line synchronization for MOL Inspectors.7. Support users to backup and restore applications and databases during computer reimage or refresh.The Services and Deliverables to be provided by the consultants will include the following:Analysis of business processes, requirements, application and design.Conduct required workshops with both business and technical subject matter expertsProvide documentation such as:Process Maps/FlowsUse Case ModelUse Cases GUI specificationAny information modeling (CDM/LDM)Report weekly on status and projected plans that conform to existing LTC standards as well as consistently update the LTC activity reporting system.The provision of guidance and knowledge transfer to other LTC resources to assist them in developing/supporting the applications and enhancements.Provide day-to-day technical support, troubleshooting and bug fixes to existing applications with turnaround times exceeding LTC’s Service Level Agreement (SLA) and in accordance with the severity level and escalation stage.· Test applications after infrastructure changes.· Provide support for off-line synchronization of the documents for MOL Inspectors.Support users to backup and restore applications and databases during computer reimage or refresh.Provide user and system documentation as per the format already established for the system.Report weekly on status and projected plans that conform to existing LTC standards as well as consistently update the LTC activity reporting system.Knowledge transfer plans, KT documentation and KT sessions.Full awareness of standards and best practices in preparation of deliverables listed above.Skill Set / Experience Required:Experience with leading and conducting business analysis in order to assess client’s business problems/ opportunities and document the business requirements in such a way that I&IT solutions can be determined.Experience applying re-engineering concepts to promote business improvements through alternative, cost effective service delivery approaches.Experience with transforming business requirements into systems requirements including creation of acceptance criteria.Experience with creation of diagrams to visualize and specify requirements (e.g. use case, activity, class, state cart diagrams).Experience with assessing business & system requirements, reporting issues and leading remediation activities.Ability to develop options and make recommendations on generic and specific application and data issues.Experience with effective stakeholder management through facilitation of workshops, communication, negotiation & consensus building.Experience with demonstrating developed features and gaining user acceptance.Experience with advising on business analysis policies, processes, best practices and standards.Understanding of different software development methodologies (waterfall, iterative &incremental, agile).Agile team work experience.Experience with managing product backlog in TFS.Experience with specifying system requirements in different formats to best meet team needs.Woking experience with modeling tools like Power Designer & VisioFamiliarity with GO IT Standards and gating process.Experience with complex business & technical solutions in this role.Good understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety compliance monitoring and enforcement or monitoring and enforcement functions in general.Experience with .NET technologies and tools, connected disconnected architecture and data replication.Experience with Incident Management process and tools like eSMT and SODO.Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Management Studio to provide database support.Knowledge of off-line synchronization process for the documents.Ability to multitask or work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.Excellent communication skills.· Experience leading and conducting business analysis in order to assess client’s business problems / opportunities and document the business requirements in such a way that technology solutions can be determined· Experience applying re-engineering concepts to promote business improvements through alternative, cost effective service delivery approaches· Experience with transforming business requirements into systems requirements including creation of acceptance criteria· Experience with creation of diagrams to visualize and specify requirements (e.g., use case, activity, class, state cart diagrams)· process would be an asset.LanceSoft
