The position is to work within an existing team on iconic sports & entertainment venues & masterplans for a variety of clients offering exciting development opportunities.The individual must be self-motivated with the ability to collaboratively manage a design team to budget adopting the established processes and procedures in place. Experience of working with sector specialists design teams, supply chain and/or tier one main contractors would also be advantageous.A good knowledge of JCT would also be beneficial with the ability to work collaboratively with any main contractor.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Commission Management, to include:Preparing feasibility studiesEstimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost planTendering and procuring, including managing the pre-qualification stage, preparing reports and tender/ contract documents.Dealing with post contract cost variances and the change control processesMaking cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects and in all cases ensuring that timely and accurate cost checking and valuation takes placeProducing monthly post contract cost reports and presenting them to the clientInputting into value engineeringNegotiating and agreeing final accountsInterfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stagesWhere appropriate, leading a cost management team, ensuring that they deliver on all of the above accountabilitiesAt Turner & Townsend alinea we utilise market leading Cost Management technology to ensure we are fully equipped to create value and achieve the best solutions for our clients.
