Job Description
Looking for a school caretaker to join the premises team as a lead.Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting. Coordinate and oversee larger repairs with external contractors.Cleaning and Upkeep: Ensure the school premises, including classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and outdoor areas, are kept clean and orderly. This may involve sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waste disposal.Security: Monitor the security of the school premises, including locking and unlocking doors, setting and disarming alarms, and conducting regular security checks. Report any security issues to the administration.Groundskeeping: Maintain the school grounds, including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and ensuring playgrounds and walkways are safe and clear of debris.Support School Events: Assist with the setup and breakdown of furniture and equipment for school events, meetings, and activities.Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance work is performed in compliance with health and safety regulations. Report any hazards or unsafe conditions promptly.Inventory Management: Keep track of cleaning and maintenance supplies, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and orders are placed as needed.Working in a well established organisation|Full training providedExperienced within maintenance roles.School expeirneced is preffered but not required.DBS CHECKA school in the local area.Good rate of payImmediate startPage Personnel
