Job Title: Sub-AssemblerSchedule: Full Time, M-Th, 6am - 4pmPay: Starting at $15Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Accident, Retirement, PTOJOB TITLE: Team Assembler - Sub-AssemblyDEPARTMENT: Final AssemblyREPORTS TO: Skid & Trailer Assembly SupervisorCLASSIFICATION: Non-exemptPurpose and Scope: The Sub-Assembler position is responsible for assembling and testing sub-components, specifically reels and control panels, used in our industry- leading fluid handling equipment. The Sub-Assembly Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality and reliable performance of our products.Key Responsibilities:Sub-AssemblyAssembly and sub-assemble components for Sage Oil Vac Equipment, focusing on reels and control panels.InspectionPerform visual and functional inspections to ensure the quality and integrity of sub-assembled parts.TestingConduct testing and quality checks on sub-assembled reels and control panels to ensure they meet company standards and specifications.Trouble ShootingDiagnose and resolve any issues or defects in sub-assembled components, including electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.DocumentationMaintain accurate records of sub-assembly processes, testing results, and any issues encountered.Inventory ManagementAssist in managing and organizing inventory for sub-assembly components, ensuring that necessary materials are readily available.Safety ComplianceAdhere to all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.CollaborationWork closely with the production team to ensure the timely availability of sub-assembled components for final equipment assembly.Specific Tasks for PositionEnsuring that all steps in the assembly process for control panels and reels are performed correctly and in a timely manner.Responsible for keeping the sub-assembly area clean and in order.Assist other team members if necessary.Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, etc.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus.Experience:Strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills.Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and schematics.Basic understanding of electrical systems and and components.Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.Good organization and time management skills.Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.A commitment to safety and following established safety procedures.Physical Demands and Work Environment:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
