This state-of-the-art hospital will revolutionise healthcare delivery for the local community and surrounding suburbs. It will feature modern facilities for emergency medicine, surgical services, critical care, and expanded and integrated ambulatory care services, including cancer treatment and community health services.We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to join our team in a crucial project management role for the Bankstown Hospital and Community Health Services Redevelopment Project. As the Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing projects from inception to completion. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that projects are delivered successfully, meeting client expectations, budget constraints, and project timelines. You will collaborate closely with contractors, and internal teams to coordinate projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution. Your leadership will be essential in motivating teams, resolving issues, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout the project.You will possess a high degree of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality, along with exceptional organisational skills to support the team and ensure project deliverables and milestones are met.What you'll be doingProject Officer supports project planning, delivery, compliance and reporting for the New Bankstown Hospital Redevelopment project (and assists where possible with any request to also help support the Fairfield Hospital Redevelopment Project).Working as part of a small team, the incumbent will apply sound project management expertise including change management processes to assess and progress project planning, designing and commissioning requirements. The incumbent will liaise with project and facility staff to ensure projects can be undertaken to minimise disruption to hospital business whilst delivering project outcomes within project scope, time frames and budgets.The Project Officer will also oversee projects including co-ordination and facilitation of project working groups and support to project Change, Workforce, ICT and Communications & EngagementWhere you'll be workingBankstown-Lidcombe Hospital is located in the city of Bankstown and is in one of the most multicultural local government areas (LGA) in Australia.
