SEC PLATING PTY LTD, is an established Australian-owned company specialising in electroplating and industrial coatings since 1947. We cater to a diverse range of domestic and international customers in industries such as aerospace & defence, medical, electronics, and transport, among others.We are currently seeking a full-time, experienced Supply & Distribution Manager to join our busy team at our Belmore premises. Your knowledge of chemicals and their handling will be highly regarded in this role.Responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:Determining, implementing and monitoring purchasing, storage and distribution strategies, policies and plansPreparing and implementing plans to maintain required stock levels at minimum costNegotiating contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirementsMonitoring and reviewing storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levelsOperating recording systems to track all movements of supplies and finished goods, and ensuring re-ordering and re-stocking at optimal timesLiaising with other departments and customers concern requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding transportationOverseeing the recording of purchase, storage and distribution transactionsDirecting staff activities and monitoring their performanceProvision of products and services to meet customer or client requirementsThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:Effective communication and negotiation skills.Strong organisational abilities and excellent time management skills.Reasonable physical fitness, as heavy lifting may be required.Holding a Certificate in Handling Dangerous Goods or willingness to obtain certification.Holding a forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.To apply, please send your resume to accounts@secp.net.
