This program is designed to support people's independence in the community. The focus is on volunteering, employment, travel training, purchasing and money management, continuing education, and behavioral self-regulation. The goal of the program is to teach each person the skills they need to become independent within the community.Your Role:Creating Impactful Programs: Design and develop group activities, workshops, and community partnerships that help individuals become more independent.Leading with Purpose: Oversee the Santa Rosa Resource Center's operations, ensuring high-quality program offerings and maintaining regulatory compliance.Inspiring Community Connections: Forge new partnerships to expand our activities and engagement opportunities.Managing with Excellence: Handle Budgeting, workshop calendars, and provide leadership to our dedicated staff.If you have previous supervision experience and have also worked in positions supporting summer or day camp activities, working as a paraeducator in a school setting, or have a background in sales or development, this position would likely be an ideal fit for you.QualificationsWhat makes you a great fit:Experience: One year in a management or supervisory role and two years in the human services field.Education: A bachelor's degree is preferred, especially with a background in psychology or mental health.Skills: Experience developing activities and workshops.
