Wellcome Trust plans to spend £16bn over the next ten years, funding new discoveries in life, health, and wellbeing, and taking on three global health challenges: mental health, infectious disease and climate and health.We are looking for a Lead Digital Analyst to join our team on a permanent basis.Where in Wellcome will I be working?You’ll be joining Wellcome Collection’s Collections & Digital department. Reporting to the Lead Product Manager, you will work closely with multi-disciplinary product teams responsible for Wellcome Collection’s digital products.What will I be doing?In the role of Lead Digital Analyst you’ll play a strategically important role in developing user focused and data led insights for Wellcome Collection. You will contribute towards the development and continuous improvement of our digital products and services, including our public website, online collections, library services, and catalogue and website search. By analysing user data and behaviour you will help us to better understand our users and to shape their digital experiences by providing insights and analysis.We are looking for someone who can:Lead on strategy, architecture and delivery of digital insights for the Wellcome CollectionDeliver high-quality, digital analysis and insights that allow the team to innovate and iteratively improve the experience of Wellcome Collection’s audiences and the organisation’s ways of workingTransform product manager questions into actionable insights by understanding their underlying business needs, translating them into effective SQL queries within the data warehouse, and delivering clear, insightful reports.Work closely with colleagues across Wellcome Collection to maximise knowledge of users and ensure that that knowledge is usable by product managers and the Wellcome Collection leadershipContribute to a diverse and inclusive culture across the organisation, collaborating across departmentsIs this job for me?If you have deep experience in data analysis, and a passion for understanding users and improving their experiences then we would love to hear from you. You’ll have extensive experience of a range of tools and techniques, and a willingness to explore new approaches with a wide range of stakeholders.
