VIC, BK Gym - Hoppers Crossing 3029Be part of something excitingGreat workplace flexibilityBuild a career you loveOpportunity to make a real difference to our communityThe CentreWhile we have established our first Belgravia Kids in Melbourne's western suburb of Hoppers Crossing, we now a number of new sites within Victoria and WA.At Belgravia Kids our customers will experience a friendly and warm atmosphere with coaches that will guide and encourage them.The RoleThe Head Gymnastics Coach is accountable for the overall success of the BK Gymnastics programs, meeting or exceeding the quality standards and customer satisfaction KPIs set out in the annual plans and business budgets. You will drive program excellence and maintain the reputation of Belgravia Kids as a leader of quality children gymnastics programming. You will lead a team of Beginner and Intermediate gymnastic coaches and drive a positive, inclusive culture of safety, sales, service and operational excellence through strategic planning and staff training. The Head Gymnastics Coach is a member of the centre’s leadership group.This will be a part time position which will require you to perform administrative tasks during the non-operational hours.Key accountabilitiesAchieving or exceeding the gymnastics program’s financial budgets through effective strong member growth and careful cost controlDeveloping the gymnastics program into a quality reputable program focused on progression, fun and safetyWorking with coaches and Program Managers from other venues to continually improve the programs on offerContribute to the recruiting, training, supervising and appraising of staffResolving customer/parent queries and complaints with a service first attitudeCoordination of gymnastics-related staff training and professional developmentFacilitation of effective communication between and within staff but also with customersEnsuring compliance with health and safety legislation – for staff and customers – including child safety standardsEnsuring effective implementation and use of business systems to drive an efficient business operationEnsuring the quality of gymnastics floor and surrounding areasAssisting with maintenance of gymnastics floor and surrounding areas, including equipment safety checksESSENTIAL:Advanced Gymnastics Australia Coach AccreditationKnowledge of gymnastic programs, particularly children’s gymnasticsCurrent Gymnastics Australia technical membershipAnnually updates gymnastics accreditation in accordance with Gymnastics Australia technical membership requirementsWorking with Children CheckNational Police CheckSenior First Aid CertificateCPR CertificateDESIRABLE:Gymnastics Australia Presenter and assessor accreditationGymnastics Australia accredited SupervisorKnowledge of and experience in developing staff/coachesKnowledge of gymnastics levels and the Gymstar programKnowledge of child developmentThe CompanyBelgravia Kids is part of Belgravia Group which hold several of Australia's best known active recreation brands.
