Previous auto or RV experience is not required as we will train the right applicant who has a desire to succeed, eagerness to learn, and passion for the outdoors. This position will start in the spring.Pay: $60,000 guaranteed with potential up to $200,000 annuallyJob Duties:Build rapport & trust with customersGenerate and close sales for new and used units and accessories, through effective selling techniques and consistent with the company's core values and service pillarsConduct professional, high quality and informative interactive demonstrations with customersServe as a liaison between customers and various departments including Accounting, F&I, Parts, and ServiceMaintain appropriate level of contact with customers to increase opportunities for repeat and referral businessContinuously improve product knowledge by staying up to date on manufacturer’s product features, components, and changesStay up to date of market trends and industry changes from publications, manufacturer websites and company provided informationBe willing to learn and continuously implement the Alpin Haus selling system word tracks and techniquesParticipate in the company's education and training seminars to improve sales and customer relationship skillsEnhance organization reputation by accomplishing new and different requests, handling customer objections and exploring opportunities to add value to the customer's experienceQualificationsHigh school diploma1 year retail sales experience; experience in RV or automotive sales preferredWeekend work and occasional travel requiredCompetenciesBe self-motivated, enthusiastic, with a strong independent work ethic and have passion for successExhibits high level of integrityFollows through on commitments on a timely basisExhibits assertive, but un-abrasive selling skillsHave a professional demeanor, with excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills for friendly and effective customer and employee interactionsPossesses basic computer and data entry skillsWorks effectively both alone and in a team environment, and establishes collaborative working relationships with peers and staffPhysical and Environmental ConditionsTalking and hearing, walking and sitting, repetitive hand motion, using hands to grasp, and reaching with arms/hands, are required.Very little exposure to adverse environmental conditions; work is normally performed in a typical office environment.
