This individual works under the supervision of the Project Manager as a field representative on installations, testing, and maintenance of low voltage security systems.Not interested in San Diego, California? Multiple other locations and positions for full-time traveling technicians are available as well at – check it out.The ResponsibilitiesPerforms system administration maintenance and repairsOversees the proper operation of the system architecture and ensures the application of all required security measures for all software and hardwareTroubleshoots, repairs, and maintains various systems and sub-systems software and hardwareManages system architecture and account activity and ensures all required information is provided for each account, new and existingResolves systems errors and minimizes downtimeMaintains network and data transmission media (DTM) security and integrityEnsures database and account information remain up-to-dateEnsures accounts are identified as activated or deactivatedReports critical eventsEnsures time-sensitive reports and other information are created and submitted within the required time framesProvides support to field technicians during maintenance and repair effortsInterfaces with internal customers, including Engineering and Operations, with the technical information necessary to improve installationsThe NecessitiesSecurity + (current version)Windows 7 config (now win 10)70-642 TS: Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure, Configuring70-640 TS: Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Configuring7A-433 TS: Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Database Development70-432 TS: Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Implementation and MaintenanceMust obtain and maintain OSHA 30 certificateMust obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid cardHigh school diploma or equivalentIT or an electrical background.
