Learn more about the opportunities we create for students, employees, and our province at .Position SummaryThe Workforce Preparation Unit in the School of Foundational Learning undertakes applied research and development work, along with revenue-generating activities, associated with the Government of Canada’s national Skills for Success/Essential Skills competency framework.The Workforce Preparation Officer position provides customer service and operational support aligned with the unit’s ongoing business (test sales, product sales, consulting, and professional development). A primary function of this role is to support the delivery of quality short-term and long-term projects. The role is a primary contact for internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the operational unit.This position reports to the Manager, Workforce Preparation in the School of Foundational Learning.Required qualifications:Minimum post-secondary certificate; degree preferred2 or more years in a related field (assessment, operational administration) preferredAn equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Ability to travel and work non-standard work schedule.If your education was received internationally we will require you provide an international education assessment through , , or one of the other nationally designated organizations upon hire.This opening is a continuous AUPE position.
