This will be achieved through a ‘360 approach to integrated PR strategy across all consumer and media touchpoints.The candidate must have a genuine passion for developing brands for their market, using initiative to achieve exceptional results. Impeccable liaison skills are required, with a pre-established network of key contacts essential (including influencers, stylists, editors and industry leaders)RequirementsThis role will focus mostly on the Kurt Geiger London brand, but will also incorporate the Kurt Geiger Kindness Foundation mission, KG Kurt Geiger and Carvela where needed, including campaigns, special projects and media events but also incorporating the customers, and new/potential audiences.Increasing awareness for Kurt Geiger brands and our Foundation, developing and maintaining relationships with key journalists and media, always acting as an ambassador for Kurt Geiger.Assisting and working closely with the PR team and VP, Public Relations:Being a conduit for fresh ideas for PR campaigns and develop strong story anglesIntroduce traditional and non-traditional media approachesUnderstand and identify appropriate strategic partnership opportunitiesManage celebrity/VIP dressing and placements including seeding and gifting approachDevelop and implement annual and seasonal forward planning documents and strategies for collections and product launches, product focuses, and eventsDraft, edit, disseminate and oversee press releases and other relevant PR tools and assetsBuild exceptional media relationships within the industry while also creating new contacts in fashion, business and philanthropic media for our brands.Act as an ambassador amongst all key target media at appropriate levelsPitch, secure and manage fashion all Kurt Geiger stories for both product and brand including key media, profile features on our CEO and CCO and our Foundation.Suggest ideas/initiatives/strategies to drive brand awareness in key markets and elevate our brandKeep an overview of collections and sample loan activitiesOversee, manage, and develop all tasks and responsibilities of PR team and liaise with international wholesale and franchise PR teamsManagement of all logistics around eventsWork closely with wider marketing team and in-market global network including Kurt Geiger PR teams to deliver fully integrated, global marketing and PR campaignsDrive success and excellence through our partners – agency, measurement, insights and morePossess strong understanding of all internal communications strategies, tools and systems to ensure alignment with overall brand messaging. Able to drive both internal and external communications when neededExcellent reporting ability on an on-going-basis and to inform strategyKEY ATTRIBUTESProven experience in a managerial PR role within a fashion environment (preferably with some focus on accessories) as well as corporate and purpose PRStrong managerial and organizational skillsDigital-first mindset with a strong ability to devise fully integrated communication strategiesCreative and strategic thinkerAble to identify communication opportunities through a pro-active approachProven experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
