Join Spectrum in continuing to deliver patient care excellenceJob DescriptionProvide patient-focused, safe, holistic nursing care and work collaboratively with other members of our specialized palliative care teamEnsure that nursing care provided to our patients is based on current and best practices to achieve successful outcomesContinually assess, anticipate, identify and respond to new and changing needs of our patientsTravel between patients’ homes within a specific geographical regionQualificationsIf you have these experiences, skills and qualifications, you are likely a good match for our patients:Minimum of two-year nursing experience (Community Nursing experience is ideal, but not required)Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)Must have experience working with palliative care patientsFundamentals of palliative care, LEAP and/or CAPSE courses are an assetAbility to work independently in managing your own caseloadProficiency in English, both verbal and written required (if you can speak additional languages, terrific)Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable vehicle with willingness to travelExcellent patient assessment and teaching skillsProblem-solving and critical thinking skillsPhysical ability to perform your day-to-day dutiesBasic proficiency in Word, Excel and ability to learn software#TO_nurseAdditional InformationSpectrum Health Care is thrilled to be named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.
