For the expansion of our production site for automotive glass (roofs, windshields and rear windows) in Grevenmacher (Luxembourg), we are looking for committed colleagues (f/m/d) who will help shape our success story with their expertise and passion.You can look forward to these exciting tasks:Handles relevant purchasing processes (within defined category/program/etc.) in a moderate/regional environmentDevelops, coordinates and implements the purchasing strategy within the defined category/programSets-up and develops a strategic supplier base within the defined category/programCoordinates and executes sourcing processes for category/program (supplier selection, RFQ, negotiation, source decision matrix, sourcing committee)Conducts contract negotiations with suppliers with large business volumeReviews consistently, drives quality and competitiveness of suppliers and develops corrective actions if neededDrives task forces on regional and global levelCoordinates and executes sourcing processes for category (steer supplier selection, negotiation, sourcing committee)Contributes significantly to the global purchasing strategyDrives the collaboration with global acting suppliers (Global Supplier Owner) depending on the assigned categoryHere's what you can bring to the team:Master’s degree in business management, Business Administration or Purchasing focus required5+ years of experience in a progressive purchasing careerHave technical background or technical understandingAdvanced knowledge of purchasing and global marketStrong communication, networking and negotiation skillsExperience in automotive environment, tier 1 and category managementGlass knowledge is a great assetAdvanced/Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPointWebasto is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
