We have a rich history of consistently driving innovation, harnessing innovative technology, and cultivating a dynamic environment that empowers our employees to shape the future.Reporting to the Manager, RBS Platform, the Lead, RBS Releases will work with Product, Platform and Practice Delivery Leads to define and implement the release process across our RBS program enabling the delivery of an ever-growing suite of capabilities and services. The ideal candidate will be a self driven, hard-working team player that can effectively communicate and work across many teams and develop effective relationships with stakeholders.Responsibilities:Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and proceduresLead and coordinate the entire release process for our multi-platform ERP solution, from planning to deployment and post-release activitiesCollaborate with technical teams to schedule and implement release activities, ensuring minimal disruption to business operationsWork closely with the Organizational Change Management (OCM) team to assess and mitigate potential risks associated with ERP releases, and develop strategies to address organizational change challengesPartner with training teams to ensure that end-users are adequately prepared for system changes introduced by ERP releasesDevelop and maintain release schedules, communicate release plans and progress updates to partners, and handle expectations regarding release timelines and goalsCoordinate and lead release readiness reviews, post-implementation reviews, and lessons learned sessions to continuously improve the overall release processServe as the main point of contact for all release-related inquiries and issues, and escalate to ensure timely resolutionKeep abreast of industry standard processes and emerging trends in ERP release management, and recommend process improvements to improve efficiency and effectivenessQualifications:Education background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is desired combination of work experienceValidated expertise (7+ years) in release management, preferably within the ERP domainStrong understanding of ERP systems and their release cycles, with experience working with multi-platform ERP solutionsCertification in project management (e.g., PMP) or release management (e.g., ITIL) is desirableExcellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple release activities simultaneously and meet tight deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation skillsProficiency in collaborating cross-functionally and influencing outcomesAttention to detail with a focus on quality and continuous improvementExperience with principles of organisational change and practices is a plusAdept agile practitionerExcellent understanding of ITSM processBilingual skills in Spanish and English would be idealWhy Join Us?At Teck, we offer more than just a job - we provide a pathway to personal and professional enrichment.
