Over 15,000 members of Kronospan teams around the world are the motivation behind our constant advancement, both technologically and professionally - that's why we are looking to complement our team with proven skills, but above all with motivated colleagues.Kronospan Luxembourg is at the precipice of these operations with huge investments to increase the production capacities and improve the sustainability credentials of the plant.Just recently we celebrated the landmark of producing Particleboard using 100% recycled material, this alongside our state of art green-energy production facilities makes this plant a world leader in it's operations.Main duties and responsibilitiesFor our Sanem based operations, we are looking for an ambitious and resilient:Sales DirectorThe ideal candidate will have experience working within the wood-panel industry, with strong leadership qualities and a proven track record of driving successful organisations.Responsibilities:Sales and further growth of OSB, Chipboard and MDF in all markets focusing on France, Germany, Belgium and the NetherlandsWorking closely with the local, established Kronospan sales organisations to develop market share, acquire new customers and maximise cross sellingSales of any other wood panels imported from other Kronospan companies or third party suppliers. Establish trading platform to service Western EuropePersonal involvement, management and further acquisition of key accounts in this sector, ranging from manufacturers, distributors and retailers as well as any other specialists in this fieldManagement and further development of the sales teams dedicated to these sectorsStrategic planning and range development, enabling continuous, sustainable growth as well as budget responsibilityCreation of commercial opportunities for further improvementsDefine the Detailed Sales Manual (product portfolio, sale prices, markets to sell in)Control Sales operations, including Group Sales in UKSet & implement marketing strategyDeliver the Business Sales PlanTake responsibility for sales planning & budgeting.Improve customer serviceSet targets, monitor progress and take action to address variationsObtain & use market intelligence to commercial advantageMake 200 customer visit per yearTake responsibility for the turnover, margin, pricing and development of market shareLeadership and further development of the team, including performance reviewsRequirements- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or a related field;- Minimum 3 years of experience of senior management experience in the wood industry sector; with 5 years over all in a senior sales position- French & English language skills are a must, both verbal and written to C1 level- Strong strategic planning and execution abilities;- Excellent financial and analytical skills;- Proficiency in managing complex negotiations and driving sales performance;- In-depth knowledge of market conditions, sales strategies and future developments;- An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organisational and leadership skills;- Outstanding leadership and team-building capabilities;What we offerThis is an exceptional opportunity for a high achiever.
